What is UNITIS?

A European professional organization uniting companies involved in the field of cosmetic ingredients and determined to master their future nearby regulatory bodies and partners of the cosmetic industry.

This organization is aimed at any company whose principal activity concerns:

  • production of botanical extracts and derived natural ingredients for Cosmetics and Personal Care;
  • distribution of such products;
  • testing of cosmetics and cosmetic ingredients;
  • and subcontracting, R&D, training, consultancy and assistance…
Expertise
UNITIS brings expertise, know-how and experience in a professional network to allow the implementation of collective action to facilitate the development of members business. These individual skills are being expressed during the various working groups and task forces. These groups operate according to current events

Our missions:

  • To promote and defend the interests of the European sector of natural cosmetic ingredients by supporting companies at every stage of product development.

  • To represent the sector at the European level by participating in the Working group on Cosmetics of the European Commission, to ensure that the rights and strategic needs of this industry are defended.

Thanks to its central role, UNITIS contributes to strengthen the competitiveness, safety, and excellence of companies in the industry, while fostering innovation at an international level.
