The objects of the Association are, in Europe and worldwide:
- Fundamental research, development and increase of scientific knowledge in the field of botany and complex Natural Complex Substances ‐ NCS ;
- Sharing, exchange and communication of scientific information, and of the results of its researches.
The NCSTOX Project, initiated and created by UNITIS, is the first project implemented within the Botanical alliance framework.
The result of this project, a toxicological database of 25,000 natural molecules, is a prediction tool that helps users establish the toxicological profile of their plant extracts before initiating any development.
